Smack My Bitch Up

Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up

Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up
Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up
Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up
Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up
....Smack my bitch up
....Smack my bitch up
Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up
Change my pitch up.....Smack my bitch up

Clearly this is one of the most obvious examples of degrading women in music, no need to go into much depth analyzing this one. The whole song is about smacking a bitch (woman) up. This only encourages violence against women. Yet thousands of people enjoy listening to this song. Women included. Why do we promote this behavior?

I don't even understand how 'change my pitch up' and 'smack my bitch up' even go together besides the fact that they rhyme. What is that supposed to mean? I've heard of this song but I've never really listened to it and I'm guessing I would not like the rest of the lyrics.

Sadly, there are NO other lyrics. That is the entire song. The music video (which I couldn't figure out how to post) is just living through the eyes of a person out at a bar ultimately. They keep ordering drinks, and then tries to force themself on women, or just rudely and inappropriately grabs them. ... but in the end it turns out this is a woman. Which threw me for a loop. Any way you have it, nothing about this song is good, and the only reason there was controversy with this song in the media is because of the drugs that were portrayed in the video.
